Welcome to Inyathi Guest Lodge accommodation in Knysna, heart of the Garden Route, South Africa.

A few days at Inyathi and your idea of a guest house will never be the same. We're unique, we're different and we're African! Inyathi started as an African Arts & Crafts Village later changed into an African style accommodation village, with all the modern comforts of the western world.
(The word ‘Inyathi’ meaning 'buffalo' in the local Xhosa language.)

Our Knysna guest Lodge accommodation consists of eleven individually decorated wooden chalets on different levels are equipped with colour TV, coffee and tea making facilities, heaters as well as fans. All bathrooms are en-suite, and have a shower or Victorian bath, washbasin and toilet.  Linen as well as towels are provided and our chalets are serviced daily. 

Our breakfast is an experience on its own, with a mix of both English and continental influences.  You'll find your favourite cereals on the buffet, as well as fruit juices, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea, and most importantly a decent cup of filter coffee! Brown bread, white toast and cheese finalize the continental part of the buffet, while the eggs and bacon complement the English part of breakfast.

Stone paths and wooden steps wind their way through this little oasis, filled with ferns.  Indigenous yellowwoods, lush oak trees and 'fruitful' guava, plum and banana trees form the basis of Inyathi's bush-like garden.

In the evening, when soft lights light this romantic setting, you wish you would never have to leave.....
